Umpqua Holdings rose slightly in extended trading after the financial holding company reported higher-than-expected profit and revenue for Q4.
EPS rose to $0.31 for the December quarter, from $0.28 for the year-earlier period. That topped the $0.29 average estimate of analysts polled by Capital IQ.
Q4 net interest income fell to $207.8 million from 219.8 million, while Q4 non-interest income rose to $98.6 million from $69.3 million. Q4 revenue totaled 306.4 million, above the analyst consensus of $287.8 million.
Shares edged up as much as 0.4%.
